To All DHS Alumni,

Now is a critical phase in the process of publishing our first Alumni Directory. It is important for the Association to compile current contact data for as many Alumni as possible. We need your assistance.

We will be working with a vendor that has completed directories for other area schools and we are sure our Alumni will appreciate the quality of the Directory. However, the success of the directory will depend upon the participation of our Alumni. Please be assured that the Alumni Association and the selected vendor both support the privacy of our Alumni. More information on privacy appears below.

How you can help? Make sure we have contact information (mailing address, phone numbers, email addresses) for:

1. Yourself
2. Family Members (spouse, children, parents, grandchildren, grandparents, siblings, aunts, uncles, and cousins) who are DHS graduates
3. Friends and Co-Workers who are DHS graduates
4. Classmates - Tell them you want your Class to be well represented in the Directory
   
   Please encourage other Alumni to submit their information this month or volunteer to enter the information for them.

PRIVACY NOTES

• The information collected by the DHS Alumni Association is typically not shared with individuals.  Information for members of a specific class may be shared with an official Class Reunion Committee. 
  
  
• In the process of publishing the Alumni Directory, we have selected a vendor with an appropriate privacy policy.  The vendor will use the information we provide in order to contact each DHS Alumni by mail, email or phone.  The purpose for this contact is to ensure the accuracy of the information and to give each person the opportunity to determine what information is published in the directory.  For instance, while everyone will be listed in the roster for their class, each individual decides if items like mailing address, email address and phone number are published.  The resulting directory will ONLY be marketed to DHS Alumni and the vendor will not share information with anyone other than the Association.
